My First Skirt: Amy G.

From the moment I tried on my first Skirt Sports skirt, I was in love. I kid you not. I’ve never been a fan of
running skirts. For me, they either rode up, pinched my thigh chub, or just felt really uncomfortable. But
when I tried the Heartbreaker Skirt (for those of you who may not know what that is – it’s a skirt over
leggings), I instantly fell in love.

Let’s make a statement

On September 12, 2004, I made a big statement. I won an Ironman — wearing a SKIRT! I heard it all, “What was that thing?” “I don’t know if I love it or hate it, but I have to have it,” “Are you on a tennis team?” In the end, it was all good buzz.

After his triathlon career, he became a firefighter in Austin, TX. It was there that he founded the Engine 2 empire which started as a macho “who has the lowest cholesterol” contest between firefighters and has become a massive movement in the plant-powered arena.
