Keli's Klippings

February 27, 2013 · 6 Comments

Hello!

I want to welcome you to my new blog series - Keli's Klippings. My passion for fashion started as a teenager and after graduating college with a fashion degree, I landed a great job, had some wonderful experiences in the fashion industry, and then found my current home as the Designer and Developer for Skirt Sports.

I have always loved running, but really grew to love running as an ‘adult' and now I do so more than just run. It's important for me to stay active for both my mind and body. This blog is a combination of fashion and fitness apparel, exploring the world of what is trending today, my personal experiences, love for both fashion and fitness, and my love for you – the ones who wear fitness products. I hope this blog will inspire you to take some risks and try new things, enjoy!

Do you love pink, but don't LOVE pink? I am a fan of pink, but sometimes do not want pink all over. Pink + Black together is a fun, safe way to wear pink! From vintage to present day, we see Pink + Black everywhere from apparel to toys. There is something to covering up with Black and having a fun, energetic pop of Pink! Be a little bold, be a little safe and go with a Pink + Black color combination.

A GREAT combo. Worn a lot. Running, especially Biking. And just everyday, too. :)

I love that Skirt Sports has a designer that understands there is more to women's fitness clothing than just pink-it-and-shrink-it. Love this blog!

How fun with the pink! In my sport (dog agility) need to be ready to run all day, so I'm in my "tough girl" or capris from 7 am til late. Super comfortable plus nice not to be in the regular shabby sweats. :) I think the pink/black skort in my near future.

HA! I'm wearing pink and black TODAY! Right now. As we 'speak'. ;) Neon pink L/S top, black track pants.
