SkirtSports Inc., the company that just three years ago built a brand around an edgy, innovative line of fitness skirts, announces a branding shift that will take the company to soaring heights. No longer will the company call its sassy and sexy apparel line by the name TRIKS, but all products will be SkirtSports-branded. 2008 will act as a transition period for the branding shift, where TRIKS will gradually fade out of the company's identity entirely.

This change comes at a time when SkirtSports has seen enormous growth and a need for something beyond its current boundaries, converting over 50,000 women's bodies and minds to the products and culture of SkirtSports. Pro-triathlete, founder, and CEO Nicole DeBoom explains the shift. She says, "I have always seen SkirtSports as the bigger picture, and envisioned multiple lines under the 'Skirt' umbrella, including TRIKS. With our enormous growth in the past six months, we've recognized a need for more consistency in the SkirtSports brand."

Also with the new branding, the company logo will be altered and closely tied to its name. The appropriately named "Skirt Symbol" stands for different things to various Skirt Converts - the silvery, reflective, hip icon can signify fun in fitness, power through self-confidence, or even emotional connections with other Skirt Sistas. But the universalizing of the Skirt logo and symbol will soon also mean one clear message: if you see the Skirt symbol, you know you are wearing a product by the makers of the ORIGINAL fitness Skirt, SkirtSports.
